Every situation is different, and there are limitless options to choose from when deciding on a New Kitchen Remodel. Here we show a neighbor of yours in Plymouth who was looking for an updated kitchen that looked like it had been remodeled in the 80’s that was dark and plain. The rest of the house has beautiful, traditional millwork details such as built up crowns and casings, wainscoting and coffers. We came to make the new kitchen match the rest of the home.
Ensure to scroll down this page to see what the house looked like before Russell Mill Remodeling arrived, along with a few work in process photos to get an idea of what needs to be done to make your dreams become a reality.
Let’s begin by showing off the beautiful kitchen remodel how it looks today.
The new kitchen includes new stainless steel appliances by Bertazzoni and a Kraus farmers sink.
Now we take you through how it used to looked before Russell Mill Remodeling arrived.
Next we show you the progress of the work. We enjoy our clients envisioning their dreams while also appreciating the craftsmanship that fulfills those dreams. We begin with running the top rail profile for the wainscoting. Part of the project included bringing the wainscot detail that was in the rest of the house into the kitchen. This required sketching the molding profiles on paper, and then having custom molding knives made.
In the dining room, which adjoins the kitchen through the butler door, we restored all the woodwork, plaster and hardware (which is original to this 100+ yr. old home), and repainted. We also replaced the original 2 panel butler door to allow more natural light into the kitchen.
Now we walk into the finished Kitchen Remodel for this early 19th century home.
